We are committed to decreasing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In 2015 we invested in LED light fixtures and decreased our electrical requirements. Our baseline for 2015 was an Energy Star rating of 89 which is above average. Since our efficiency baseline was already above average, we set a goal to simply improve our rating. To achieve improvement, we installed solar panels in 2017 and by mid year achieved an Energy Star rating of 100. This includes a decrease of over 50% decrease in GHG emissions from our baseline.
Having reached the 100% Energy Star level, our goal moving forward is to maintain this rating and look for additional savings if possible. The table below provides a summary of our energy usage.
