NASA Meatball NASA Dryden Awards Support Contract to Media Fusion

EDWARDS, Calif. – NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center has awarded a firm fixed-price contract to Media Fusion, Inc., of Huntsville, Ala., for administrative and technical services at the center, effective March 1.

The Center Administrative and Technical Support Services contract covers a one-year base period and options for four additional years through Feb. 28, 2015. The contract could be worth up to $17.9 million over five years if all options are exercised.

Under terms of the agreement, Media Fusion will provide a variety of services to the NASA field center, including support to resource, financial, acquisition, technical publication and administrative offices. The firm will also manage the research library, perform reproduction center services and business systems support.

Team Redstone Display Installed at Huntsville Airport

Redstone Arsenal is the largest economic engine in the Tennessee Valley, but to those who don’t have a badge to get on the installation, it can be a mystery of acronyms and military jargon.

That was the challenge Media Fusion faced when they were selected as the contractor to create an exhibit, located at the airport, which would communicate the organizational missions, programs and synergy of over 50 Redstone Arsenal organizations collectively known as Team Redstone.

Media Fusion featured on WHNT Channel 19 News Media Fusion launches MyExploration, award-winning NASA website and beyond...

On October 28, 2009, NASA launched Ares I-X, the first test flight in the Ares I program. This was NASA Kennedy Space Center's first new space vehicle in 25 years.

MyExploration wins Adobe Site of the Day Media Fusion came up with MyExploration (http://www.nasa.gov/myexploration) and launched the NASA website on October 1st, 2009. In the following weeks leading up to the launch, people from all over the world submitted their videos finshing the sentence "Space Exploration is important because..." The videos were placed on DVDs, and the DVDs were placed directly inside the upper stage of the Ares I-X!

NASA MSFC 2009 Small Business Subcontractor Excellence Award NASA MSFC 2009 Small Business Subcontractor Excellence Award

Media Fusion was honored with the NASA MSFC 2009 Small Business Subcontractor Excellence Award for our work on the UNITeS contract as a subcontractor to SAIC. The criteria are very similar to that of the George M. Lowe Award, NASA’s highest award for quality and excellence. Factors considered for this award include: Technical Performance, Schedule Performance, Cost, Customer Satisfaction, and Leadership and Quality Improvement. This award was presented by NASA’s Small Business Office and received by Media Fusion UNITeS staff Debbie Solomon and Mike Crabb.

Media Fusion wins three IMAs (Interactive Media Awards)

September 21, 2009

Media Fusion was recently awarded three IMAs for interactive media work from 2008. NASA Aeronautics Research Onboard won Best in Class in two categories: Airline and Government. EXN3D won Outstanding Achievement for Science/Technology.
